before trio i was -

an account executive at a full service public relations firm in Raleigh, N.C. I worked with clients in a wide variety of fields, including healthcare, hospitality, education, architecture and nonprofit.

what i enjoy most about my job is -

no day is ever the same. At any given moment, I could be writing, at a television shoot, conducting media outreach or meeting with a client.

when i am not at trio i -

am reading, trying out Paula Deen’s recipes, cheering for the Tar Heels, or spending time with family and friends.

my favorite book is -

most recently, The Help. I also love anything by Nicholas Sparks and Atlanta authors Emily Giffin and Mary Kay Andrews.

the best piece of advice i've ever received is -

to reach your goals, there is no substitute for working hard, treating people with respect and having courage in the face of adversity.
