Challenge

ScanTech Sciences designs, manufactures, installs and operates the most advanced and efficient, state-of-the-art Electron Beam (E-Beam) Food Treatment Systems. This process, otherwise known as electronic cold pasteurization (ECP), provides the safest solution for food safety issues present today. ScanTech Sciences reached out to Trio to help establish them as industry leaders and to assist in a public information campaign about ECP.

Solution

Trio promotes ScanTech Sciences through various public awareness campaigns with a combination of traditional and interactive media. Current media attention on national safety concerns has been the perfect platform to raise awareness about ECP and ScanTech Sciences' technology. Trio placed ScanTech Sciences CEO, Dolan Falconer on FOX News Channel to discuss how his company can solve some of the security problems facing the US today. In addition to media appearances on FOX, ScanTech Sciences has also appeared on CNN and in various publications throughout the US and internationally. Trio is poised to position ScanTech Sciencesso they can give immediate responses when related news stories appear in the national media.

In combination with this aggressive public relations campaign Trio launched a dynamic website aimed at supplementing traditional PR efforts with fresh and regularly evolving content on the web. The website features updates on food safety, such as recalls and warnings, and a separate area, "The Starns' Report", where Chip Starns, vice president of ScanTech Sciences, shares his knowledge and expertise.

Results

By providing a constant stream of information concerning general public interest with related information about ScanTech Sciences in traditional media and online, higher brand recognition is achieved while also positioning ScanTech Sciences as a leader in safety.
