Piedmont Healthcare – a forward-thinking group of professionals dedicated to top notch care for the North Georgia market. How can this healthcare organization bring health education to its target market in a dynamic, engaging way and keep them interested in the brand for the longterm?
Goals
- To create a news site featuring Dr. Randy Martin – a well-known Atlantan, Emmy award-winning journalist and nationally recognized cardiologist, and engage his fans and audience in a new media format.
- To bring new, cinematic-style health news to viewers in small two to three minute segments.
- To use social media to spread the news and gain followers and site visitors.
Solution
Working with Piedmont Hospital team (Ed Lovern, Diana Lewis, Rashel Stephenson, Jim Taylor and Nina Day), Trio Media Group created a fully-customized interactive portal to house news segments that are interesting, smart and worth sharing.
Results
While in Beta, since April 2, 2011, the Trio video news crew has created more than 70 segments and gained thousands of new visitors to the site, while doubling and tripling visitors over the last 45 days.
